Mountainside Mobile Veterinary Service
Dr. Jennifer Elliott graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2000. Originally from Vermont, she returned after graduation to practice small animal veterinary medicine.
For the past 16 years, Dr. Elliott has been committed to keeping her furry patients happy and healthy. With a special interest in preventative medicine, Dr. Elliott feels the healthiest place for your pet is where he or she is most comfortable, their home. She feels that providing home veterinary care allows her to more accurately assess and diagnose health issues, as well as provide a more relaxed , in-depth assessment of your pet. In addition, assessing pets in their own environment provides a more accurate picture of possible behavioral or nutritional issues.
Dr. Elliott and her husband, Clarke, three dogs, Gretta, Watson and Darby, two cats, Hamish and Herman and three horses, Arjen, Easy Go and Mansfield enjoy the pastoral bliss of Pleasant Valley in Underhill, Vermont. In her free time, Dr. Elliott enjoys spending time with all of her many critters, hiking and attempting to master the elusive art of Dressage with Arjen.
In addition to her “normal” veterinary work, Dr. Elliott is also a certified animal cruelty investigator. Acting as voice for the animals, she believes she has a responsibility to the health and well-being of all animals, and has worked with the area humane societies and is a member of the Chittenden County Humane Task Force.
